Overview
The CPNRE Predictor Test is a tool designed to help you gauge how ready you are to take the
Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE) and to help focus your studying by
identifying areas in which you are weak. It provides you with the following:
- Your score on the Predictor Test
- Your probability of passing the CPNRE
- Your scoring profile which displays your score in each of the competency categories
tested by the CPNRE. This allows you to determine in which areas you need to focus
your studying.
- The ability to review the questions and correct answers for a 24-hour period
The Predictor Test is a short version of the national exam. It is created using the same
methods as the CPNRE. The questions in the Predictor Test have all been used on previous
administrations of the CPNRE. The Predictor Test is updated periodically, but at minimum, every
time the Blueprint of the exam is updated.
